White White Baby!

White White Baby!

All is still white white baby! And we’re loving it.

Join Moon Monkey this Sunday, February 17th, and let’s snowshoe in the largest nature reserve, not only in Lebanon but also in the Middle East!

Al Chouf Cedars nature reserve aka Arz El Barouk, represents 5 per cent of the Lebanese territory, and 70 per cent of its green area, how about seeing it all white!?

About the Hike

The hike is a loop. We start hiking at 1584m above sea level, exploring the wide diversity all around: from frozen lakes, old cedar trees presenting the south border of “Cedrus Libani” on earth, to juniper trees, oaks, pines, etc…

The reserve presents a mix of cultural and natural heritage, offering a view on Moukhtara, and Al Mir Palace.

Distance 7.6 km
Duration 4 to 5 hrs
Level Easy to Moderate
Minimum Elevation 1584m
Maximum Elevation 1785m
Cumulative Elevation 201m
