The Big Loop
On December 1st , Moon Monkey is going 44 km away from Beirut, up towards Jabal Moussa Natural Museum, hiking it all around!
Seven hectares of cultural and natural heritage lies in Jabal Moussa Biosphere reserve.New trails are being marked each year by the Association of the Protection of Jabal Moussa. Those trails link somehow, creating one big loop (Jabal Moussa’s new baby, yet not so tiny), allowing us to discover Jabal Moussa All Around.

After achieving The Big Loop, each hiker will be acknowledged from the Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa, with a completion certificate, and his/her name will be added to the achievers list at their own website. Let’s get some energetic monkeys in there ;)

Meet and Ride /
Meeting point: Chez Paul - Ghazir, right after Metro Superstore on Ghazir Highway.
Time: 6:30 AM - SHARP
We can share each other’s cars. So carpooling is an option!

• Hiking shoes, hiking pants, hiking poles, hat.
• Sunglasses.
• Sunscreen protection.
• Light jacket.
• Fleece, or a windproof jacket.
• 2L of water.
• Garbage bags.
• Snacks (dried fruits, dark chocolate, energy bars, Tuna can etc…).
