This Sunday, March 18th, Moon Monkey is hopping up to Hrajel in Kesrouane, Mount-Lebanon.
About the Hike
The hike starts from Chabrouh Chaouiye 1550m, passing by Ain Aissi, all the way up to Hrajel’s Cross at 1850m. On the peak, we get we’ll get to see Faraya, Aayoun el Simane, Deraali, Hrajel agricultural terrains, and surrounding villages.
Going further in the mountains, heights lead us to Tallet el Maalef 1900m, originally a perfect spot for shepherds. We will loop back downwards, to finally reach the starting point

How to get there?
We will meet up at Bloom Bank – Jeita at 8:30 a.m. SHARP.
(Jeita highway, after NDU and Charcutier Aoun)
We go together by cars. We can share each other’s cars, so carpooling is an option.
Don’t Forget!
• Hiking shoes, hiking pants, hiking poles.
• Fleece, jacket, etc…
• 2L of water
• Sunscreen protection
• Hat
• Garbage bags
•First Aid kit
• Snacks | Dried fruits, bananas, dark chocolate, , Tuna can, nut seeds like cashews and almonds.
Oh, and most of all, turn the monkey mode ON!
Furry-friendly dogs are always allowed!
