Hikers! It’s Strawberry Moon. Time to gather some ripening strawberries under Laqlouq’s sky lit by June’s Hot Full Moon.

Old tribes used the Full Moon to record time. So does Moon Monkey!

On Saturday June 15th, Moon Monkey is offering you a Full Moon journey: Full Moon Hike and camping till dawn!

 

/The Full Moon Hike

The hike will start by a lake nearby. Lights will guide us to the other side of the mountains where we can see Aaqoura. After that, we will reach the peak and have a “Skywalk” experience by walking on the Jreid Mountain’s skyline.

After Skywalking, we will join our tents where we can chill by summer full moon’s bonfire! Bring your food, beverages, and munchies, speakers, music instruments, and anything you need to make this full moon memorable!

@TickettotheMoon will join us for a little night swing on the hammocks, we’re all children of the moon afterall!

It’s going to be clear for most of the night, with a golden hour at dawn, don’t forget your cameras for catching the first summer haze!

Meeting point: Bee Market Supermarket | Jbeil (Old Bou Khalil Market) next to Wooden Bakery.

Meeting time: 19:00 (7 pm) SHARP

We go together by cars. We can share each other’s cars, so carpooling is an option.

 

 

Itinerary  

 

7:00 pm -Meeting point:

8:30 pm – Arrival to campsite – Pitching the tents

9:30 pm –Strawberry Moon Hike

12:30 pm -Arrival to campsite, bonfire, dinner, music and booze!

• Headlamp / chandelier
• Camping gear (Which you can always reserve from The Outdoor Guru ahead of time, contact Laura on #70-877970 )
• Hiking shoes, hiking pants, hiking poles.
• Fleece, jacket, etc…
• Beanie.
• Water.
• Garbage bags
• Snacks and camping munchies (dried fruits, dark chocolate, etc…)
•Insurance card.
•ID or passport.
