Moon Monkey is spending the day by Chir el Ribeze in Tannourine this Saturday, June 8^th.

We will be rock climbing during the day, messing with gravity and camping by the bonfire. But be warned… you may well leave hooked!

 

 

/The Village

Tannourine holds a variety of flora and sceneries. From oldest Cedars trees, to high cliffs, and even beautiful panoramic slopes! It is 85 km away from Beirut, and 30km away from Batroun. (40 min)

 

 

/Itinerary

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or looking to grow your indoors climbing skills to the outdoors, Moon Monkey is looking forward to help you discover rock climbing.

 

You can always join us at the campsite or by the cliff anytime of the day!

 

 

8:00 am              We will meet up at Alfa Jbeil (Bou-Khalil Market, near Wooden Bakery)

9:30 am              Arrival

10:30 am             Hitting the ropes | Introduction to knots

11:00 am             Hitting the rocks | Climbing and Abseiling

14:00 pm             Lunch Break

15:00 pm            Setting the tents

16:00 pm             Climbing

18:30 pm             Wrap time

19:00 pm             Camping     

 

/ Let’s meet and ride!

We will meet up at Alfa Jbeil (Bou-Khalil Market, near Wooden Bakery), at 8:00 a.m. SHARP
We go together by cars. We can share each other’s cars, so carpooling is an option.

 

/ Gear up with

@TheOutdoorGuru gets you covered, in case you need to rent any camping gear. Make sure you book your gear ahead of time!

 

• Climbing Shoes, harness (It’s optional, you can always use one of ours!)

• Comfortable climbing pants

• Fleece, jacket, etc…

• Beanie / Hat

 

•Pants for the night.

•Hiking or running shoes.

•First Aid Kit (Insect repellent in case you’re a sensitive.)

 

•Hygiene Kit

•Sunscreen protection

•Headlamps, chandeliers, tents, sleeping pads, music instruments.

 

• 3 L of water

• Garbage bags

• Food for the night and snacks (dried fruits, dark chocolate, energy bars, Taqa Bar, Tuna can etc…)

• Insurance card.

• ID or passport.

 

Friendly dogs are always allowed!
