How about a stroll on diamond-like dust on Sunday, January 20^th, on the magnificent trail linking Laqlouq to Aaqoura in white!

 

About the Hike

The hike is a loop. We will be roaming around Tem Rtiba peak, to finally top it out, and then slide down on wide white slopes. Laqlouq’s agricultural lakes views clash with high rocky cliffs and the snowy slopes of the rural side of the mountains.
We start hiking at 1800m above sea level till we reach Saydet el Arn. Then we enter the valley, wandering between the summits until we reach the skyline at 2150m

/ Let’s meet and ride!

We will meet up at ALFA– Jbeil (Bou-Khalil Market place), at 8:00 a.m. SHARP.

We go together by cars. We can share each other’s cars, so carpooling is an option.

• Hiking shoes (Gortex), hiking pants (waterproof)
• Hiking poles.
• Fleece, jacket, etc…
• Beanie and hat.
• Gloves (liner)
• 2L of water
• Sunscreen protection
• Garbage bags
• Snacks (dried fruits, dark chocolate, energy bars, Taqa Bar, Tuna can etc…)

Snowshoeing gear will be shared at the starting point.

Oh, and most of all, turn the monkey mode ON!
